Brittany is a wonderful region of France, often far from the hordes of tourists. Small towns and villages seeped in history and quietness. Woodlands and open pastures with isolated farms. Coastal towns with histories of pirates. A strong Celtic heritage. In order to truly experience Brittany I highly recommend that you have your own form or transportation, as points of interest are often off of the beaten path. If you are as fortunate as we were, you will have the opportunity travel with someone who knows the area and appreciates it for what it is. However you experience a stay in Brittany, I am sure that it will be memorable.
