Florida First Impressions

I haven't been in Florida long enough to have a real understanding of the land or its peoples. Still, I thought I'd share a few photos of my first impressions. If you go back the the post before this one, you can see that I'm in a definite state of transition, and a pleasant one at that.

So far, I've been impressed by Florida's natural beauty and its incongruities. Beautiful sunsets, palm trees, new wild life and plants-much to explore. Christmas lights on palm trees, inflatable plastic Frosty the Snowman, elderly golf cart drivers in customized carts, gated communities of more than 100,000 people- different than what I am used to.

A month from now I may have developed some conclusions, it's too early now. In the meantime, new experiences while traveling are ahead of me. New horizons! As I discover more in the next month, I will start to share my impressions with you.

Thank you for visiting, please come again. In the meantime, may your travels be interesting and enjoyable.
